Paddy and I met in Woolocombe Devon in 1963 when we were taking a working holiday at a family hotel which was owned by a former Nursery Nurse. Paddy and I became instant friends as we were both between jobs from Nursery Nurse positions. What fun we had after working hours, me as a waitress and Paddy as a chambermaid, the sun, the beach across the street was a welcome after working in the city up north. Our friendship kept up through the years with exchanges of letters that dwindled down to cards at Christmas. Paddy had a gift making beautiful cards which I have kept to this day. It is with great sadness that I learnt of Paddy's passing through a search when no card arrived this past year. Rest in peace my dear friend with condolences to her family. Irene Jones Ohio USA.
